Julia's Tape #1

This whole storyline starts involving Jack, Molly, Starziak, and Carly. I didn't include all the scenes of Jack missing, but most are there.

Jack disappears while transporting Starziak to the emergency room. Carly is frantic when she learns Jack never arrived at the hospital with Starziak. Later, a crash is found on the bridge and Jack's license plate is found on the ground. The search continues on and the rescue workers find a body, only to be Starziak's, not Jack's . Hal informs Carly that the mission has switched from rescue, to a recovery and Carly breaks down. Parker disappears, trying to take Jack his flotation device. Hal and Carly decide to tell Parker about Jack, only to return home and discover he's missing. Parker falls into the lake and Hal and Carly search for him, not knowing he is in the water. Carly finds Parker's body and he is alive.

(From this point on, the scenes all scenes recorded and described here will only include the storyline that directly involves Jack, and Sarah's new character, Julia)

Jack wakes up in a hospital bed and is a little groggy. He sees a name tag with Julia on it. "You're Julia," he mumbles. "That's right, I'm Julia," she tells him with a smile. She questions how he is feeling and Jack obviously has no knowledge of who he is or where he came from. Jack starts getting restless and Julia calls in the doctor, who informs her that the patient needs to remain calm and she must go along with whatever he says. Later, Julia questions Jack on what he remembers, if anything. He tells her that he remembers that they had a strong connection and that he is a lucky man. Julia agrees with him that he is. Later she walks in on him looking at his hand, confused. he asks her why he didn't notice the wedding ring before. Julia explains that his hand had been bandaged, besides he was not too active. Jack tells her how he remembers a song, and sings it for her. Julia smiles and joins in. Thinking it was because of him she knew the song, Jack gets hopeful. Julia tells him it is a popular song and a lot of people know it. She tells him to look inside his wedding band, and he asks why she has an indentation on her finger where a ring was at one time. Julia just smiles. Jack looks at the ring and learns his name is Jack. Julia tells him that her wedding ring had something engraved as well. Julia has a hard time waking Jack up. When he does wake up, he is fighting to get out of bed. Jack continues to believe Julia is his wife. Later, Jack overhears Julia talking to JJ, her son, and remembers that name. Jack begs Julia to take him home so he can remember. Julia tells Dr.Greenwood that she doesn't like lieing to Jack allowing him to believe she is his wife and JJ is their son. She tells the doctor she can't lie to him anymore and the doctor agrees to assign someone else to his case. Later Julia gets a call at home from Dr. Greenwood, asking her if she has heard from Jack, then explains that he checked himself out of the hospital. Julia looks worried about Jack, as she watched the rain from her porch. Julia finds jack in the park as she is jogging. Jacks, frustrated, asks her why she won't be straight with him and asks her what she is keeping from him. Julia tells asks him to come home with her and she will explain everything then. At Julia's house, she tells him that she had been going along with the idea that Jack knew her, on the doctor's orders. Julia explains that she has never seen Jack before he was brought into the hospital. Jack meets JJ, Julia's son and after he fixes JJ's hand game, Julia makes a suggestion that he is a natural around children and that maybe Jack has children of his own. As Julia is putting JJ to bed, Jack goes to the piano and plays the song he remembered while in the hospital. Julia comes back downstairs and asks if it brings back any memories. Jack says no and gets frustrated. Julia and JJ have an outing planned for the water park and Julia "mothers" Jack in telling him how he can get a hold of her in case of any emergencies. JJ, disappointed that Jack isn't coming with them, begs and manages to get Jack agree to go with them to the park. As JJ and Julia are changing clothes Jack sees Carly and feels like he knows her. Feeling faint, Julia instructs him to get out of the sun and Jack enters a snack bar and begins having flashbacks of a blond slim woman. Thinking a woman at the counter is her, Jack approaches her and asks if she knows him. The woman thinks it is a strange come on at first, but after he explains, she wishes him luck in his search. Carly asks Julia to watch Parker while she changes Sage's diaper. They have a pleasant conversation and when Parker has an argument with JJ over a toy, Carly explains that Parker is having a hard time because he has lost someone close to him. Julia compliments Carly on her children and joins Jack in the snack bar. Again, Julia offers all her help to Jack in figuring who he is and where he came from. It's obvious she is starting to like having him around. Jack makes a comment on how he in unsure on how to repay her, and jokingly, Julia tells him to shut up about it. Parker enters the snack bar as Julia, Jack and JJ are leaving out another door, and claims he's seen Jack. Once home, Julia starts a water fight and it ends with her victory. Julia tells Jack to take her shirt off and then kiss. Later, frustrated at himself for kissing Julia, Jack takes a walk and ends up at a bar. Seeing a piano he begins to play an Elton John song. Julia walks in and listens. As the song ends she is in tears. The next day Frank, the bar owner, goes by Julia's to offer Jack a 3 night a week gig. As Julia's starts to protest, Jack accepts. On Jack's opening night, Julia tells him she won't be there because she needs to work. Julia and JJ give Jack Julia's father's watch for good luck. Jack goes to play at the bar and we Julia enter as he is about to take his break. Jack tells Julia how great she looks and how much of it is that she doesn't dress up more often. After his second go at the piano, Jack tells Julia how he makes her feel and they kiss again but Julia pulls away, "God!!! I'm sorry. I can't... I just can't..." she tells him and hurries away. At home, Julia explains why she ran out and tells Jack she doesn't want to ruin his opening night. Jack tells Julia that when he looks at her his past is insignificant. As Jack walks JJ to the bus stop, Julia's ex husband, Les, shows up and demands to see his son. Julia warns Les he is not taking JJ out of school, and Les gets angry. Noticing men's clothing on the table, Les wants to know who Julia is shacking up and claims he wants his turn. As they begin to struggle, Jack comes in and knocks Les a couple times with Julia's bat. Then Jack handcuffs Les with the telephone wire (much as a COP would do) and yells at Julia to call 911. The police come and take Les away. Jack tries to comfort a much shaken up Julia. She explains that she broke the custodial agreement and took JJ away from Les. Jack tells her she is safe once again and he'll do anything to protect her and JJ. Julia and Jack begin to get passion and start to make love on the sofa. A knocking on the door interrupts them and Jack gets up to answer the door. At same time, scenes are shown of Carly at a house "similar" to Julia's, knocking at exactly the same time. As Jack answers Julia's door to one of the police officers that arrested Les at the same time...Carly is greeted by a young boy and then his father. Once alone again, Julia wants to continue where they left off but Jack backs off, concerned he would be taking advantage of Julia's friendship. Julia is obviously hurt by this but claims to understand. They start making love again and the image of the blond haired woman flashes in Jack's mind and he pulls away. Jack explains to Julia that he can't move on with her, until he knows where he came from and who he left behind. Julia agrees saying she wouldn't expect any less from him. Jack prints out posters with his picture on them and asking anyone with information on who he is to contact him. Julia tells Jack she may have a quicker way and explains she has the clothes that he showed up at the hospital in. Jack doesn't catch the connection. Julia explains the shoes he was wearing were not cheap or common and that she called the company that makes them. Julia and Jack go on a road trip! Before they leave, an officer shows up to inform Julia that they had to release Les. Jack tells a fearful Julia that she has nothing to worry about, that he won't let Les hurt her and JJ ever again. Once on the road Jack and Julia stop at a gas station and Jack pokes fun at a hippie van and two guys come out. After talking a few moments the men recognize Jack. They explain to him ( after Jack pays them ) that they picked up a woman a while back who had pictures and other things and claimed that it was Jack's wife. When Jack presses for a name, " Julia," they tell him and Jack attacks them thinking they are scamming him. They go further to explain that this woman was crazy and there were glad to have dropped her off, claiming she "just disappeared". Jack realizes that's why Julia's name had seemed so familiar when he woke up in the hospital. Back at Julia;s, Jack has a dream, in which he sees the past Julia, first they are shown in love and happy and the next scene Jack is tied up in a car and Julia is taunting him, telling him she's got to kill him. Jack wakes up and tells Julia the vision and he links him being found near a river, the hippie's claims of his wife being crazy, and the visions he saw of her trying to kill him... together and is satisfied that's how he lost his memory. Jack rips off his wedding band, giving it to Julia, telling her he wants nothing to do with what that ring represents. Julia looks shocked, but pleased. With JJ gone for the night Jack and Julia play around playfully and making out. Several times one of them stops saying that they should wait until they know Jack more about Jack's past. JACK AND JULIA MAKE LOVE!!! As they are making love, Carly, Parker, and Sage make a public broadcast to try and find Jack but neither Jack or Julia sees it. They are too busy, ha...ha! Afterwards, Julia watches the rain from the porch and Jack comes out and holds her. The he proposes to her. Julia, shocked, doesn't give an answer. The next morning Julia is thinking downstairs. She has Jack's wedding ring on her finger and when Jack comes down, she says she tried it on to see what it would be like to be Mrs. Jack Jackson. Jack pushes the marriage idea more. Julia gets called into work and Jack takes her place in taking JJ to a baseball game. As Julia finds a card in JJ's backpack left by Les, Jack gets a "feeling" that someone he loves is in trouble and assumes it is Julia. He calls Carly instead and rushed back to Julia, surprised he is so upset. Julia finally says yes to marrying Jack and tells him she is "soooo in love with him". They realize that they can't get married without proof of ID for Jack. Jack meets with Frank (his boss) and tells him he knows he's got connection and he needs someone to help him start a new life. Frank tells Jack that his does have someone who might be able to help him get a new last name. jack goes to see Andrew and tells him he needs a new last name. Andrew tells him it will cost $1500 and Jack gets frustrated that he doesn't have that. The man tells Jack, no money, no deal. Jack goes to Frank and asks for the cash upfront. A little hesitant, Frank agrees and Jack gets his new identification. As Jack and Julia's wedding begins, Les interrupts and tells them there's no way he's going to step aside and allow Jack to take his place and JJ's father. Julia begs Les not to cause trouble for them and tells him their life is over. Jack has Les thrown out of the club, but not before Les can throw in a few more threats. The wedding goes on and Julia and Jack are pronounced as husband and wife. Jack carries Julia over the thresh hold and once again they congratulate themselves on becoming a family. JJ questions how they can be a family if Jack isn't his father and Jack tells him that when he married his mother, he married him as well. JJ asks Jack if he can call Jack dad and Jack tells him he would love for him to do so. (touching moment) JJ goes to the babysitters and Jack and Julia begin their honeymoon. After making love, Julia goes downstairs for ice cream and finds JJ's backpack which rattles when she picks it up. Inside is the bottle JJ found at the river and a picture. Julia is horror struck when she reads the note begging Jack to return to his family and turns the picture of to see Jack with Carly,Parker and Sage. As Julia is crying, Jack comes downstairs and requests for Julia to join him upstairs. Julia, still horrified by the picture, is very emotional and Jack doesn't understand why. She explains that she is not used to be happy and is just expecting something bad to happen. Jack assures her that he is with her and whatever he was before he lost his memory is gone, not important. Julia's asks what if another family came and wanted him back. Jack assures her that won't happen and they go back up stairs. Julia comes back down and tucks the picture in the sofa cushions and goes back upstairs with her husband. JJ, realizing that his bottle and it's contents are gone, asks his mom where it is and Julia explains that she threw it away. JJ, upset, explains that he wanted to know what the picture and note said but Julia covers herself by telling him she couldn't make out what it said. As they are packing a bag for JJ's camping trip, seeing JJ's compass brings back a flash of memory for Jack. He sees Carly at his door, claiming she did as he had asked her and let the compass lead her to him. Jack, distraught over the vision gets up and Julia senses that something is wrong. Jack covers by telling her the compass reminded him that he needed to give some directions to someone. Later on the porch, Jack tells Julia about his flashback of the blond woman and Julia looks shocked as she too, flashes back to the picture of Carly and the kids with Jack. Julia starts to cry as Jack explains how the memory made him feel it came to him. He tells her it felt like the wind had been knocked out of him and he was dizzy. With a slight, sarcastic laugh... Julia tells him, " Sounds like it might be love." Jack tries harder to convince Julia that the woman is in his past and she and JJ are his future. The next day, Julia calls in sick to work but lets Jack believe she is working. Julia sets out to find the woman in the picture. Julia stops at a restaurant and shows the woman behind the counter the picture and asks if she knows who the woman is. The waitress explains that it is Jack "Snyder" and his family. Questioning further, Julia learns that Jack is believed to be dead because of a car accident a few months back. Julia asks the waitress if she knows where the woman can be found and she hands her a phone book. Julia looks up the name and asks how to get to Milltown. Julia arrives on Carly's porch and hesitates before she knocks.

"Mrs Snyder?" She asks the woman who answers but the woman explains she is just the sitter and that Carly is at the family pond. Julia explains that she may have some information about Jack for her and the woman tells her she will write down how to make it there. Julia gives the girl a pen went "St. Genevieve's Hospital" on it but that doesn't work either. The woman goes up stairs to get a pen and Julia looks around. There is a box of stuff on the sofa and Julia goes through it and finds Jack's police badge. Julia is very upset as she leaves and is unaware that she leaves the pen behind. At the pond, Julia watches Carly, Parker and Mike. She gets a call from Jack as she is hiding in the bushes and is almost discovered before she leaves. Julia returns home and is greeted by an anxious Jack, who explains that the social worker had been by and was suspicious as to how Jack Julia were able to wed, without knowing who he really was and unable to obtain ID. Jack explains how he covered with Greta Williams, but Julia tells him that she believes they need to change some things. "Like what?" Jack asks, "Like our address," Julia answerers. Julia tells Jack she lied to him, she didn't go to work, but then covers by saying she went to the library. Jack is confused on why she would skip work to check out a book and Julia tells him it wasn't for a book, it was for a magazine. "The lead article was the top 10 best places to live" she tells him. Jack tells Julia she didn't have to lie to him about the library and Julia covers by telling him she didn't want to tell him anything until she had more information (Obviously, talking about Carly Snyder and Jack's past life). Just then Julia realizes she left her pen back at the Snyder's. Julia tells Jack she remembered she left her pen at the library. " See, if you would've went to work you could have walked out with 50 of them," Jack jokes. Julia covers by saying it was the pen she was using when she met him. Jack offers to get her a new pen and Julia tells him she doesn't want a new pen, she wants a new life. She goes on to explain that she feels as though the ball is going to drop on them at any time. Jack asks Julia just when she is wanting to move, explaining that JJ is still on his camping trip, Julia tells Jack that they can pick him up on their way out of town. Julia tell Jack she has a Friend she went to school with holding a job for her in Louisville, Kentucky and she doesn't want to miss that opportunity.With much persuasion, Julia manages to get Jack to agree to move. Julia goes to the hospital to quit her job and tells them that the job is in Nashville, TN. Greta Williams overhears and asks if Jack has family there. Julia tells her that Jack has family spread out everywhere. The social worker warns Julia that she knows that they are running out of town to hide. As she is leaving the hospital, Julia spots the wanted poster on the bulletin board and tears it down. Jack and Julia pick up JJ and head to their new destination. JJ complains that he doesn't want to move again and Julia tells him it's best for all of them,. Jack makes JJ a deal, that if he gives Kentucky a chance, Jack will coach any sport JJ wants to play. JJ chooses Lacrosse. Jack and Julia stop for the night at a roadside motel. Julia wakes up in the morning and is panicked when she can't find Jack. When she does find he, he shows her the badge he found with his name on it and asks her where she got it and why she didn't tell him about it. Julia covers by telling him someone at the hospital gave it to her when she quit and she didn't tell him about it because she just needed a few days to get settled with the move and all. But she was going to tell him. Jack tell her that they aren't going any further with their plans to move until he finds out more about is life in Oakdale. Julia begs that he give her a couple days to get JJ settled. Jack reluctantly agrees. As Jack is packing up the he spots Carly. " I know you, don't I" he asks her and she tells him she is Carly. She goes on to tell him that they are married, about his children, and shows him the picture that Julia had hidden. She tells him about the accident and how everyone thought they he was dead. Julia walks out and Carly is shocked. Carly tries telling Jack that Julia has kept him from his loved ones. Jack tells Carly that Julia did nothing of the sort and that she was afraid he had another family out there. Julia mentions JJ's name, and Jack warns that "their"son is inside. " Don't you mean her son" Carly asks and Jack tells her that He, Julia and JJ are a family, that they are married. Carly orders Julia to tell Jack that she has known about his family. Julia explains to Jack that she didn't mean to hide the truth from him, but wanted to find out more before she brought all this information to him. JJ overhears them arguing and Jack tells Carly that they need to take a break and he needs to calm JJ down. Carly agrees to give them a few moments and then returns to continue on. Holds up the picture that was in the bottle and asks Jack if he remembers when that was. Carly goes on to tell Jack that it had been taken about a month before his disappearance and that right after it was taken his daughter Sage threw up all over him. She tells him that he helped deliver her. Jack looks confused and it's obvious he still doesn't remember. Carly gets Jack to agree to come home in order to try and remember things. Jack agrees and when Carly mentions they should fly, Jack objects saying he won't leave Julia and JJ behind. He agrees to return to Oakdale within the next couple of days and Carly stops pressuring him to leave with her. Jack, Julia and JJ drive to Oakdale and check into a motel. Jack calls Carly and asks if he should bring something for Parker. Carly tells him that he used to take Parker out for cake at a diner on the edge of town and Jack tells her he will stop there, then to her house. Julia explains to JJ that Carly is not doing anything wrong, that Jack needs to see his other family to try and remember. At the diner, a man tries to rob the place and Jack's instinct as a cop kicks in and he wrestles the guy and manages to get him into custody. Hal gets the phone call telling him of Jack's actions and all are hopeful that he remembered who he was. In the meantime, Carly goes to Julia and demand she tell her where Jack is, accusing her of drugging him so he couldn't leave. Julia tells Carly she wouldn't do that to Jack and Carly gets louder and JJ steps in to tell Carly to leave his mom alone. Julia warns JJ to not talk to Carly that way. Carly gets a phone call from Rosanna telling her Jack is at the house. Carly leaves without an apology and bumps into Lisa Gremalli(sp) and learns that Carly isn't as innocent as she claims to Jack. That their relationship had many problems including Carly sleeping with Mike the night before her wedding to Jack, and that until a test was performed they weren't sure who was the father of Sage. Julia later goes to Mike to get some information and he gets upset and tells her he is going to tell her the true version. After hearing enough Julia begins to leave but runs into Carly on the way out the door. Carly demands to know what Julia is doing there.Carly informs Julia that she knows what she is up to and it won't work!!!
